Gavin and Kylie are getting ready to take over the workshop from Tanneke and Renne. We had a bit of a party today with coffee and cakes and several guests. It was a "changing of the guard" and we are very happy with the handover to such a wonderful couple.

Sunday May 14th was Mother's Day and we spend lots of hours gathering at the house of Bas and Renee and talking to both sides of the family. It was also the day that Shoko moved from our house to Bas and Renee. We are missing her already.

Bas and Renee have announced their plans to marry on October 15th this year, a few hours south of Perth. We have brought forward our return to Australia to be there, of course. It will be a family affair with a civil celebrant. 3 cottages have already been reserved at the beach front in Dunsborough.

I will try to update this blog once a week so that there will be some news regularly.

We are a big sad to realise that today is our last meal together in this house, the home where we have lived for 22 years!

This is Montana, born 10.1.06, our first grandchild, son of Tim and Leah. They live in Kalumburu, about 3000 Km north of Perth.
